The stick game
Instructions
How to Play:
The players stand in a circle, facing inwards, about an arms length away from each other. Each player holds a garden cane or stick in front of him/her. The Leader stands outside the circle and proceeds to "tell a story". At each mention of the words "right" or "left", the player must let go of his/her stave, and step in the apropriate direction to catch the stave released by the next door player before it hits the ground. If the stave falls before the player can catch it, the player who missed is out. The game ends when there is only one player left. You can use numbers, or any word you like to mean left or right. The story can be left out and left or right called as appropiate.
