Only works with a group who are familiar with one another and have spent a moderate time together already. One person starts with, for example: "We had a conversation about socks" and the person who they had that conversation with would pick it up and pass their own conversation on.. e.g. "We had a conversation about pizza" - and whoever they had that conversation with would pick it up. There is no end to this game!
